Getaway Car

Getaway Car featured vocalist/guitarist Todd Wright, guitarist Matt Miceli, and bassist Chris Reardon. All three were Washington, D.C., area musicians; Wright and Miceli had worked together in a '90s power pop combo called The Excentrics. Getaway Car formed in 2002, and began crafting a slick modern rock sound comparable to acts like Fountains Of Wayne and Maroon 5. (Wright was also an in-demand player, touring with both Lucy Woodward and The Pat Mcgee Band.)
