Dicky Wells - The Stanley Dance Sessions

Trombonist Dicky Wells participated in three slip horn-centered sessions in February and April of 1958. All of this material has been compiled onto one disc by the Lone Hill Jazz label. The dominant trait throughout is the late-'50s swing groove formula associated with Count Basie.
