Eliot Lipp drops into the same space occupied by quasi-abstract beat makers Prefuse 73 and Dabrye, while continuing in the lineage staked out by some of the producers gathered on the Mo' Wax Headz series. He stacks up to none of them, but not without leaving an impression, on his first album for Eastern Developments (the label run by Prefuse 73, also the temporary home of Dabrye).
