Decal - Release Through Velocity

Another in Satamile's roster of neo-electro fetishists, Dublin, Ireland's Decal play their electro with a Detroit techno influence, but only in the high-end, not the bass. Bleepy with plenty of chirps, Release Through Velocity is a satisfying headphone record more than a stomping floor-filler. The album keeps a traditionalist attitude toward instrumentation, but Decal's smart song structure goes deeper than the usual robotic precision.
